Star Wars: Battlefront reveal incoming and here’s a teaser video

It’s been a busy Star Wars day with the release of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer; and there are a few Battlefront teasers too.

Social media went nuts this evening with the release of the new Star Wars movie trailer. More importantly from a gaming point of view, the trailer also offered up a very small, and I mean very small, tease for the new Star Wars: Battlefront game which is due later this year.

At the end of the trailer (see below) there’s a very small window showing action from the game, which according to DICE is “what the actual game looks like.” That remains to be seen, but those with decent PCs could be in for a treat if the game does look as good as the video makes out.

As well as this small tease a single shot from the game has also appeared and the site’s source code suggests a 17 November release date which means it will probably be going head to head with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

If you’ve not watched the new trailer then you can find it below and the official Star Wars: Battlefront site is counting down to April 17, 2015 10:30 AM PT when all will be revealed. Keep an eye on that.

Here’s the Star Wars: Battlefront segment zoomed in.
