Starbreeze gets Payday: The Heist devs in the bag

Swedish development studio Starbreeze (most recently responsible for the remake of Syndicate) has reached an agreement to acquire Overkill Software, developers of Payday: The Heist. All shares in Overkill will be purchased by Starbreeze from parent company SLG Ever Screen Ltd.
The announcement (linked below in the original Swedish) also notes that co-op shooter Payday: The Heist has sold more than 400,000 copies.
President of Starbreeze Michael Nermark is quoted as saying: “We are very pleased with this acquisition of Overkill Software” (or at least he is when I use google to translate the document).
