State of Decay George Romero mod adds more features for zombie fans

State of Decay has been out on Steam Early Access for a couple of weeks now so perhaps you need something extra to spice up the action. Adeno’s State of Decay George Romero mod changes the gameplay in numerous ways and it’s definitely worth a shot.

The mod changes quite a few things including the ability to change zombie types between “Slow Classic Romero Zombies” or “Modern Fast Zombies”, increased zombie numbers, up to eighteen outposts, and a “Deadlight” by flashing the torch on and off repeatedly to attract zombies.

The mod can be picked up here and there’s a few notes in this post in case there are any problems getting it working. Adeno has also released a few videos to illustrate how the mod affects the game…
