Steam Top Sellers – Week ending 8 January

The Steam Top sellers list for the first week of 2017 have been revealed and it’s good news for GTA V which once again sits on top.

CS:GO takes second spot and the recently released The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth++ comes in third. The rest of the top ten all feature games that have all done well in the top selling games of 2016 list which Valve revealed at the start of the year.

This weekend Steam hit a new concurrent user record of over 14 million and GTA V was the third most played game. It’s no huge surprise it’s sitting firmly in pole position again this week.

• #2 – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
• #3 – The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
• #4 – ASTRONEER
• #5 – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition
• #6 – Planet Coaster
• #7 – H1Z1: King of the Kill
• #8 – ARK: Survival Evolved
• #9 – Sid Meier’s Civilization VI
• #10 – Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
