Steam UI Update Due Monday

Valve has announced it plans to update the Steam user interface on Monday 26 April.

The update follows a beta test which has apparently been a “huge success”, with participants offering “great ideas and feedback.” The beta community has contributed over 25,000 posts to the beta forums and Valve says the feedback has allowed it to create an interface “more reliable and useful than ever.”

Those who missed out on the beta need not despair, however, as you can sign up for the last few days here. Not only will it reduce the amount of content you’ll need to download later (once the update is rolled out), you’ll also get the chance to catch a glimpse at the “future of Steam.”
