In case you were in any doubt about the previously leaked start date for the Steam Winter sale, there’s now confirmation.

PayPal has once again pushed the release date out and the Steam Winter Sale will start on 22 December. The confirmation comes with its own piece of Twitter marketing.
Based on the leaked information from 1 December, the sale is expected to start onĀ 22 December a 9:50 AM PST and concludes on 2 January 10:10AM PST.
With so many sales haven taken place in the past couple of months you probably own every game you wanted to pick up. Get those wallets primed, there may still be a few games worth playing over the holidays.
