Steam Winter Sale Day 4 – The IncGamers Picks

The Witcher 2

What ho! Sales ahoy.

Are you sufficiently levelled up to tackle the Steam Winter Sale today? It’s got a fairly heavy RPG slant to it, with lots of money off Dragon Age: Origins ($5.00,) Oblivion: Everything Edition ($5.00) and The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition ($5.00.) If you consider Crusader Kings II an RPG (it has certain elements) then that’s $10.00 too.

Maybe medieval-infused fantasy isn’t your thing though. In that case, perhaps Tomb Raider at $10.00 may interest you? Or how about a lovely dose of Wang in the form of $10.00 Shadow Warrior?

In the current Flash sales, you could nab La Mulana for $1.50 which, let’s be honest, is probably less than you’d spend on a coffee. Don’t drink that coffee though, because you’ll need a steady hand for Surgeon Simulator 2013 ($2.50.)

Handy Tip: If the game you want isn’t in a Daily/Flash/Community deal yet, wait until it is. If it never is, then buy it at the general sale price just before the offers end on 3 January.

Even Handier Tip: IncGamers is giving away a pair of Steam games every day up until Christmas. You can enter our Steamy Christmas Sacks contest, here.

Why isn’t this post just called “La-Mulana is £2.99, go buy it now”? It is beautiful and fantastic and wonderful and has brilliant music and will make pretty much anybody cry bitter, frustrated tears at its mix of difficult combat and obtuse puzzles. It is like Dark Souls for the Metroidvania crowd. It is amazing and WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS GO AND BUY LA-MULANA

Cowards need not apply, though, obviously.
