Steampunk Fathom gets Kickstarted

Indie developer Ironsun Studios  has launched a Kickstarter for their upcoming neo-gothic steampunk 2.5D action  inspired adventure game Fathom.

The team are looking to raise £120,000 and they have until 29 March to reach the goal for the game.

“At Ironsun, we are massive fans of Steampunk and feel that this sub-genre has been completely underused in today’s world of interactive entertainment” said Managing Director, Paul Kelly of Ironsun Studios, “Fathom mixes the myth of the lost city of Atlantis, the worlds of underwater exploration and combat with puzzle solving as players journey deep in the waters of the Caribbean sea, visiting ancient ruins and beautiful caverns in an awe-inspiring beautiful 2.5D world”.

The game follows a shipwrecked Victorian adventurer called Nathaniel Lockhart who is lost at see in the Caribbean. Nathaniel sets out on an adventure to understand how he became shipwrecked a follow his vision to create an underwater craft called the Bathysphere to take control of Atlantis.
