Earlier this month came news that GSC Game World would be shutting down, thus taking any chance of Stalker 2 with it.
However, it seems that there is casue for hope. Speaking through Twitter, the Ukranian developer promised solid news this January:
“Dear Stalkers: We will not be releasing any official news until around mid January. However there is cause for hope! Good hunting!”
A couple of weeks saw GSC stated that they would do their best to continue, although “nothing is certain.” This second message seems to suggest that things really aren’t all doom and gloom.
