Take-Two confirms extended deals for Rockstar employees

In what is surely not a coincidence, Take-Two has announced extended employment agreements with key Rockstar Games employees, amidst fresh speculation regarding a buyout.
Sam and Dan Houser, along with Leslie Benzies, are the beneficiaries of these new deals which are said to be along “substantially similar economic terms.” So there’ll be no breaking of the Take-Two bank just to hold on to these guys, it seems.
The publisher has also announced the continuation of a management agreement with Zelnick Media (owned by Take-Two company CEO Strauss Zelnick) that will last until May 2015.
Take-Two has released some decent titles of late, including Top Spin 4, NBA2K11 and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, all of which helped the company to turn a net profit of $54 million USD for the 2010/2011 financial year.
