Techland working on Mad Riders

Techland, the developers of Dead Island, are switching from zombies to speed-freaks, promising an “adrenaline-fueled off-road arcade racing game” in Mad Riders. Due in Spring for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC (via digital distribution), Mad Riders will take players to “45 stunning tracks” all over the world.
Of course, you won’t necessarily be staying on these tracks the whole time, as short cuts and aerial stunts will be encouraged.
Three multiplayer modes will be included (though it’s not yet clear what these are), complete with “extensive competitive features and leaderboards” so you can prove to your friends just what a dedicated off-roader you are. Up to 12 players will be able to compete in each mode.
More screenshots and a trailer (say, that island looks a bit familiar) follow.
