Telltale Games and Marvel form new partnership

Some folks can never have enough Marvel, so they may be pleased to learn that Telltale Games has announced it will join forces with the comic book creators.

Revealed at a special event in San Francisco this evening, Telltale Games and Marvel announced they are forming a new super group as the comic book and adventure game creators are to team up in classic hero fashion. Don’t get too excited just yet though, because this partnership will not actually lead to a game until 2017. That’s at least two more CoD titles away.

Telltale currently have two unfinished series in development, Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands, so perhaps they want to get those done and dusted before embarking on this new relationship.

Right now there is little else to go on other than this is going to be another of Telltale’s popular “game series projects.” So probably a lot of dialogue choices and “Tony Stark will remember that.”
