Tesco calling itself ‘the home of gaming’ following GAME woes

UK supermarket chain Tesco has launched a new print advertising campaign in which it refers to itself as “the home of gaming”. This follows shortly after the struggles, and subsequent administration, of UK videogame retailer GAME.
The ad in question focuses on a PlayStation 3 controller and various tags detailing Tesco’s position in the videogame market. These include “over 10,000 games online”, “free UK delivery” and pre-orders being available for every game.
As far as GAME is concerned, they’ve just re-opened their website and it looks as though a buyout deal (from either OpCapita or RBS) is just around the corner.
