A Funcom press release has jumped the gun somewhat and revealed the release date for The Secret World slightly ahead of schedule.
Ragnar Tørnquist will use Gamescom to announce that the game will launch on the PC in April 2012.
Registrations for forthcoming beta sessions will be accepted from 26 August, which will be publicised on the title’s official site.
