The Ship Remasted hits Early Access 15 February

Blazing Griffin are set re-release the multiplayer murder-party title The Ship which hit the PC way back in 2006. Rather cunningly they’ve called it The Ship Remasted.

We already knew the release date for this (see our massive release date list) but the devs want to make sure you’re aware it’s coming. The Ship is set on 1920 cruise liners and players have to kill a target and avoid being killed by other players in what could be considered a murder mystery. Players need to identify passengers, find all kinds of strange weapons, keep an eye on their target’s location and generally cause mayhem on the high seas.

Original members of the development team are involved with this remake and the game will initially launch with four maps to gather feedback from the players. More content will be added in the months ahead.

Last Year there was an upsurge in players with around 250,000 people picking the game up. Blazing Griffin are now encouraging fans who played the original to take part and are offering a 25% discount to anyone who already owns The Ship.
