The Sims 3: World Adventures Announced

Electronic Arts has announced the first expansion pack for The Sims 3.Titled World Adventures, the expansion will let you take your Sims to cities all over the world – well, China, France, and Egypt, anyway. It’ll also contain “thrilling new life destinies in new locations,” according to Scott Evans, the general manager of The Sims at EA.Apparently, you’ll be able to visit Shang Simla in China, Champs Le Sims in France, and Al Simhara in Egypt, with all three promising all sorts of new things to do – like master martial arts, check out cultural landmarks, and explore ancient tombs. You’ll be able to search for hidden treasure, learn new skills, meet new people, and a whole lot more.Anyone purchasing it will also get 1,000 SimPoints to use online, much the same as those who purchased The Sims 3.Clearly, it’s going to sell billions when it launches worldwide the week of 16 November, which we would imagine pegs it for a 20 November launch.Check out the screenshots below, and have a look at our review of The Sims 3 in the meantime.
