The Witcher 3 gets a short but pretty TV spot

Today, in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt news, there’s a 30-second TV advert.

Offering full details on what goes on in the advert would probably be the work of two sentences, so instead, I’ll just tell you that it has Geralt beating up a griffin in lovely pre-rendered-o-vision. Or possibly in-engine-o-vision, but either way, it’s not gameplay footage.

The commercial is embedded below, but to fill out space, I’ll say this: if you’re interested in seeing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in action, you’d probably be better served by checking out this lengthy narrated overview of the gameplay, or possibly have a gander at Charles Dance doing a bit of voice acting for the game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due out on 19 May.
