THQ’s new online store packs crazy postage charges

Digital portal sells boxed consoles games and downloadable PC titles.
THQ’s new online store, accessible via their official website, sells boxed consoles games as well as downloadable PC titles. It all sounds very normal, so far.
Even the prices on the front page sound normal, better than normal perhaps. A copy of WWE Smachdown vs Raw 2011 listed at £18.71 for UK customer. Not bad, I think I’ll add that to my cart. Do I want anything else? No thanks, I’ll just head to the checkout.
£8.77 for postage and packaging, are you out of your mind? Forget it. Hello Mr. Amazon.
It’s not all bad, though. There’s currently a 40% off sale running on a wide-ranging selection of PC titles. Included in the deal is Darksiders for £11.99, Full Spectrum Warrior for £4.79, Company of Heroes for £5.99 and MX vs. ATV Reflex for £8.99.
For all PC games there’s the option of purchasing an ‘Extended Download Service’ for £3.73, allowing you to download the game as many times as you like for two years.
