Respawn’s Vince Zampella seems to have been conducting a one man public relations exercise regarding the Titanfall PC version over the past few days. First he confirmed a beta session, then said pre-orders wouldn’t be necessary to get in on said session, and today he’s provided the minimum PC specs for the game.
As the game is running on a modified Source Engine, you’d be correct in assuming that the minimum specs are not too demanding. You will need a 64-bit operating system though. Here’s what Zampella says you’ll need:
Min: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
4GB RAM
512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT— Vince Zampella (@VinceZampella) February 4, 2014
No sign of “recommended” specs yet, but at the rate Zampella is revealing information we shouldn’t have too long to wait until he tweets about that too. Titanfall is due in March.
