Ubisoft announces alpine sports game Steep

Ubisoft has revealed Steep, a game that offers snowboards, skis, wingsuits, and paragliding as methods of getting down the Alps.

Essentially, you can pick a drop zone in the Alps, and then make your way down however you so choose. You can take part in events, bump into other players, record your best moments, or create challenges for your friends.

For a better idea of what Steep involves, have a look at the trailer and the gameplay video below. It looks… cool.

Yeah, okay, I’ll get my coat. In any case, it looks slightly more po-faced than SSX, but with some truly hilarious crashes and a lot of freedom in terms of what you want to do and how you want to do it. I approve.
