The Early Access ARPG will be getting its co-op mode in an update due to launch at around 6pm UK time (10am PST), according to a press release we’ve just received. Multiplayer wasn’t initially in the Early Access build, but – what with Victor Vran being an ARPG – it’s been one of the most desired features. Hooray, then, for today’s update, which’ll also add a few other bits and pieces, like the Scythe weapon type.

As of today, you’ll be able to buy two-packs and four-packs of Victor Vran to ensure you have someone to play with, and all versions of the game will be discounted for a few days from tonight. I’m not sure how much the discount will actually be, but check the Steam page at 6pm and you should be able to find out for yourselves.

Victor Vran aims to put the action into action-RPG, with a hefty focus on mobility and dodging. It’s been in Early Access since February and is due for a full launch this summer. If you want to see it in action, then a pair of new videos – one showing off the co-op multiplayer, and another showing off some of the new areas and weapons – below.
