Wasteland 2 - 1

If you pumped some cash into inXile’s post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland 2 on Kickstarter then get ready to start playing next week.

In an update on the Kickstarter page they have confirmed that they’re “fully on track to put it in your hands next week”. If you’re going to be one of the adventurers taking part then this is what’s coming up.

As we’ve said before, the initial beta rollout is the first four major areas, the associated COPS maps (smaller maps), the world map and its random encounters, and character creation. As the beta progresses, we’ll roll out more areas, though we do plan to hold LA back for spoiler reasons. We’ll have more details on the beta such as remaining known issues next week, when we launch it.

inXile remind anyone wanting to help them with more cash that this is also the last chance to buy into the add-on options via their site.

Right now the team are testing Steam distribution and their bug reporting system which will come in handy next week when testing gets underway.
