Watch the Star Citizen Gamescom presentation here – Kicks off at 8:30PM GMT

Star Citizen

CIG are holding another of their Star Citizen gatherings at Gamescom this year and it should bring further updates.

The event, which is being streamed live on Twitch, will probably show lots of stuff that won’t appear for a while but might include 2.6 patch action, some Star Marine which is apparently still a thing, possibly some procedurally generated plant stuff and more.

The event will probably have a ship sale attached to it, and I’ll say it again, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING! It’s really not worth it right now and the 118 million they have raked in should be enough to get the job done. I should hope so at least.

While we are looking forward to tonight’s show, just be aware that everything should be taken with a pinch of salt at the moment. It will be worth watching though if Chris Roberts manages to crash his ship again.

Watch the stream live below.

Update: The event has concluded. You can watch it here and read our full report.
