In a lengthy update from Chad on the official site he looks ahead at what’s in store for the game and there’s a real emphasis on more content. Carbine recently announced the Destination Arctera content update which adds a new icy zone which also comes with “unique design mechanics”. The update wil also bring the next chapter in the game’s story with the Vault of the Archon.

Coming later this year players will find themselves in the Halon Ring, the asteroid belt that surrounds the planet Nexus which is a “home to outlaws, marauders, and other unsavory individuals”. He also mentions that the next major raid in the game will be called Redmoon Terror and early testing of this will take place during the Arcterra PTR testing phase.

The team are also taking a closer look at PvP to improve the overall PvP experience for players and they are looking at offering more incentives for players to take part in PvP.

There’s a lot planned this year and you can read Chad’s full update on the official site.
