NCSoft and Carbine Studios have announced that their action-packed sci-fi MMO WildStar will be making the hyperspace jump out of beta and into launch on 3 June, worldwide.

Pre-orders for the title will open next week on 19 March, and naturally, pre-orders net you bonus goodies. As if that’s not enough, there are two different versions of WildStar up for grabs: a £34.99 Standard Edition, and a £49.99 Deluxe Edition.

Aaaanyway. If you opt to pre-order you’ll get access to a bunch of closed and open beta events, early game access that begins on 31 May, a “Rocket House”, a mini-ship housing decoration that grants bonus rest XP, a 10-slot storage bag to increase your inventory, and the opportunity to reserve character and guild names before launch.

The Standard Edition of the game comes with 30 days of game time and an Eldan-themed decor item for your house. If you plump for the Deluxe Edition you’ll also get an Eldan Hoverboard, a unique costume, an Eldan title, and an Eldan dye set.

I’ve been playing WildStar a wee bit, of late, and I intend to write something about it rather soon. If you want to find out why I’ve taken to calling it Disney Princess Creator, keep your eyes peeled for my preview.
