The Wolf Among Us will leave its den for Episode 2 in February

You’ve been a very naughty Telltale.

The very first episode of Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us was released last October, and it turned out to be pretty great. Since then, Telltale has given away the first episode for free in various places and put the ‘season’ on sale. No sign of an actual episode two, though.

Until today, that is. Telltale have emerged from their adventure den to say that “Ep 2 should be available the first week of February. We are working hard with all of our partners (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Apple) to coordinate everything, but we’re confident enough to announce that here.”

So, why the long paws? I mean face. I mean delay. According to Telltale, that was “one of those occasions where several things conspired against us (not to mention the additional delays due to the holidays). I won’t dive into the details, but it’s been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again.”

That remains to be seen, but at least the second episode of The Wolf Among Us (Smoke & Mirrors) has a (semi) concrete release date now.
