Wolfenstein: The New Order screenshots show Nazis, firepower, smiles

Wolfenstein The New Order - 03

Aw! He looks so happy.

In addition to all that stuff with The Elder Scrolls Online and some The Evil Within screenshots, Bethesda have released four screens for Wolfenstein: The New Order. It’s like it’s Christmas, or somethi– oh.

These bizarrely widescreen shots contain images of running future Nazis, a Nazi in a castle environment being shot by an assault rifle, Nazis in a castle environment being shot a mounted gun emplacement, and a man smiling. The image of the man smiling was named “Creep”, so I’m guessing he’s meant to be Future Thom Yorke or something. Or possibly some sort of Nazi creep. Or maybe he’s called Dr. Creep. He does have the look of a Hollywood Nazi villain, after all.

Point your eyeballs downwards to see the screenshots, or point them up to see one of them. Just not at the same time. That’d be weird.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is due out on the mythical date of “sometime in 2014.”
