Recently Greenlit title World of Diving is a game which makes practical use of the Oculus Rift headset. As Paul pointed out, the weight of the device on your face will kind of make sense with a diving game, since you’d be wearing a mask on your head for that anyway. Good job on the realism, Vertigo Games.
In this new World of Diving trailer, you can see pre-alpha footage of some multiplayer watery hijinx. Not Tina Watson style watery hijinx though. Those would be bad.
By the looks of things, you’ll be able to explore shipwrecks and swim with lovely aquatic life. Which seems pretty chill, really.
