Wargaming improves and adds to their tank title with every patch released and World of Tanks 8.11 is set to shake things up with a new mode.

Coming in 8.11 is a new combat mode called Confrontation which brings players from a specific nation together to battle against an opposing team. This has been a community requested feature according to World of Tanks Lead Producer Mike Zhivets.

“We have always valued World of Tanks community’s feedback above all else. The combat mode with national teams has been a popular request from our players for quite some time, and we are excited that they will soon be able to try it out.”

That’s not all that’s being included in this update, a new map called Windstorm is being added which features a nice chilly European winter setting and there’s also a winter version of Himmelsdorf and a revamped Ruinberg, featuring rainfall and fires.

The update has not been pushed to the live servers just yet but it’s available on the test servers now if you fancy testing the new changes.
