World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria release date announced

Blizzard has announced that their fourth World of Warcraft expansion The Mists of Pandaria (or Panda Pack as we like to call it) will be released on September 25th.

The expansion will be available for £29.99 and there will be a Collector’s Edition featuring bonus items but that will set you back £59.99. Blizzard will also be releasing a special Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the in-game bonus items from the CE and that will cost  £39.99.

Blizzard has had a rough time of it recently with Diablo 3 so maybe MoP will get them back on track. With Guild Wars 2 just about to release and the MMO market becoming more competitive, this release could determine the future WoW. Cataclysm wasn’t all that well received so WoW fans will be hoping this will set the series back on track.
