Over 2 Billion Rocket League Matches Have Been Played so Far

It’s basically a secret to no one keeping up with the gaming world that Rocket League is incredibly popular. The indie soccer/car hybrid sports game has sold quite a lot since it first launched on PC back in the summer of 2015. It has since come to PS4, Xbox One and most-recently, the Nintendo Switch.

With such a massive following, this new factoid isn’t really all that surprising. Psyonix announced just a few days ago that over 2 billion Rocket League matches have been played since the game’s launch.

Personally, I’m a big fan of Rocket League. Unfortunately,  haven’t been able to participate in any online matches for over a month since I’m currently in Peru staying at an AirBNB with Internet service from the stone ages. Once I’m able to get a better connection, I’ll definitely be diving into some more matches!
