2 Million Unique Players Beta Tested Titanfall

Respawn has come forward to talk about the Titanfall beta soon after it ended. Community manager Abbie Heppe cited 2 million unique users logging in to help test out the game.

Mind, this isn’t Respawn bragging at all. They were mindful and consistently talking about the goals of the beta, which was to ensure everything was smoothed out prior to launch. Beta players constantly reported bugs and this is what Respawn wanted to find out. Perhaps publisher EA was mindful of the fallout from the terrible Battlefield 4 launch and wanted to ensure there would be no deja vu.

One wonders what was the maximum number of concurrent players in the beta, and how many will come up at launch. Hopefully, Respawn will be prepared enough.
