2nd Wave of Overwatch Beta Stress Testing To Be Released This Weekend

Bummed out that you missed out on Blizzard’s Overwatch Beta release? Don’t be! You’ll get a 2nd chance at testing out the innovative FPS this weekend. Making sure you’ve signed up is easy, simply head on over to their site, linked above, and click on that “Beta” button in the top right corner. After a quick sign in to your Battle.net account you’ll be good to go.

The best part of this 2nd round is that they’re focusing their emailed invitations to the Americas and European regions. So make sure to spam refresh your email inbox starting at 9:00AM PST on November, 20th. Once you get your e-vite an “Install” button will appear next to your copy of Overwatch in your Battle.net App.

If you are chosen, here’s what you will have glorious access to first:

The full roster of 21 heroes.

Winston
and

Hanamura
A limited selection of maps including: Hanamura, King’s Row, and Watchpoint: Gibraltar

Just be sure to return the favor and fill out some quick technical feedback so the game can release in due time (Spring 2016), bug free (thanks to you).

Also feel free to stream your best plays online and participate in tournaments with prize pools of $10K or less.

Here’s the recommended requirements to play Overwatch at 60fps on Medium settings:

  • Operating system: Windows® Vista/7/ 8/10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 or AMD Phenom™ II X3, 2.8 GHz
  • Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 or ATI Radeon™ HD 7950
  • Memory: 2 GB VRAM, 6 GB System RAM
  • Storage: 7200 RPM with 5 GB available HD space
