PC Versions Of Saints Row 3 & Red Faction: Armageddon Done In-House

Encouraging news for PC owners looking forward to two of Volition’s upcoming titles; Saints Row: The Third and Red Faction: Armageddon. The developer has confirmed that both will be created in-house.
Previous titles like Saints Row 2 and Red Faction: Guerrilla suffered on the PC, after being farmed out to external studios who put together somewhat slapdash ports. Speaking to Eurogamer, Volition’s studio manager Eric Barker has said that, in the case of both forthcoming titles, “For us, the key thing was making sure the PC version was done in-house.”
“There’s a lot of debate and discussion. I can’t predict the future, but I’m really happy with how Red Faction: Armageddon looks on PC. It’s beautiful,” he adds.
