Call Of Juarez: The Cartel – Details & Trailer

Ubisoft and Techland have released a few more details about the latest in the Call of Juarez series, which aims to pull some contemporary elements together with the classic Wild West feel of the previous games.
Call of Juarez: The Cartel seems as though it will exist in a strange space, where modern day concepts (like, well, cars) will exist alongside a Wild West ‘tone.’ The game will begin with a fictional drug cartel launching a deadly bomb attack on an equally fictional US law enforcement agency.
As a result, a special unit is put together to hunt down said cartel and bring them some justice/gunishment. All of this could probably be solved much more easily by just legalising the drugs, but hey.
According to Ubisoft, each of the three characters (Kim Evans, Eddie Guerra and Ben McCall) will have their own story to play through in single-player. It’ll also be possible to play through in three-player online co-op.
The title is due this summer on Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
