Crysis 2, Dedicated Server Announcement & New Trailer

Crytek has put some PC minds at ease by announcing that Crysis 2 will use dedicated servers, and publishing a lengthy list of providers on its official site.
This news comes as the company releases a new trailer for the game, which focuses on levelling up in multiplayer. The super-serious deep voiced man in the video seems to think that having a customisable character represents a “new generation” of multiplayer, which is obvious marketing nonsense. However, the scale of play-style specific traits (“tracker” for stealth, increased rates of fire for a combat player and so on) looks quite impressive and potentially varied.
Watch the trailer, below.
Crysis 2 is due in March (22 in the US, 25 in the EU) for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
