Torchlight II Release Nudged Back To July

Runic’s Max Schaefer has said that Torchlight II’s proposed release date of May/June will likely be moved back to July.
Schaefer said these words to Digital Spy when asked when the sequel would be ready: “I’d say that the Xbox project [porting the original game to XBLA], having to do the extra work with the interface, has pushed us back a little bit, so we’re probably talking July right now.”
It was revealed yesterday that said port of the original title will be available on XBLA from 9 March.
Schaefer then cunningly headed off any snide comments from PC users about consoles ruining their lives again by saying, “We’ve actually got some optimisations and technical improvements that went into making the Xbox version that we’ve been able to go back and implement into Torchlight II for PC.” Hooray.
