El Presidente is a powerful man; he can hire and fire ministers, put up a selection of fresh buildings and even have people killed. But he can’t control the weather.
This Tropico 4 trailer (a late escapee from E3) has moving images of the expanded natural disaster features in the game. As well as a wider range of unfortunate global events that can befall your little Tropicans, El Presidente will have to co-ordinate rescue attempts (or, knowing this game, opt to save money and cover up the resulting catastrophe).
Tropico 4 is due on Xbox 360 and PC in a couple of months time.
