APB Reloaded Devs Get £125,000 Grant For Scottish Studio

Scottish Development International has given Reloaded Productions, the new owners behind APB Reloaded, a grant of £125,000 GBP to aid with the opening of an Edinburgh-based studio.
The new studio will house 22 employees, with CEO of Reloaded Productions Bjorn Book-Larson quoted by GamesIndustry as stating: “Our hope is to expand the Scottish presence and increase the size of the team over time as we add more creative game projects as part of our global MMO development efforts.”
Scottish Culture minister Fiona Hyslop says she is “delighted” that Reloaded Productions will establish a studio in Edinburgh.
APB Reloaded, which will be a free-to-play MMO when it launches, has just finished a third closed beta session. The team are now preparing for an open beta, which is set to be announced shortly.
