THQ Claims First-Day Sales Of 375,000 For Homefront

THQ has responded to yesterdays dip in share value with a bullish press release, claiming that Homefront has sold around 375,000 copies on the first day of its US release.
It’s unclear whether this figure includes the previously-touted 200,000 preorders. If it does, that’s a little less impressive than it first appears.
Homefront has been averaging 7/10 across multiple reviews, but, as we know, in this industry those scores are poison. John found the title to be “competent” but utterly lacking in anything approaching innovation.
In addition to showing off some sales figures, THQ’s Danny Bilson took this opportunity to announce that additional dedicated servers will be added for Homefront’s multiplayer, citing “strong and growing demand.”
