It’s all been silent on Thief 4 front since the game was first announced way back in 2009. However, a new video has surfaced that shows Garrett and a bunch of tools.

The trailer is entirely CG, and comes from a reel composed by lighting artist Erich Wong. Supposedly, the 30-second clip was originally intended to be released across the internet in December 2011.

While the video is interesting because of publisher Square Enix’s continued silence regarding the project, it’s hardly the in-depth info we’ve been waiting for. Perhaps all is not positive on the Thief 4 front as, along with the video below, comes whispers that a number of key development staff have recently left the project.
