Jagex are back with another update to their blocky shooter Ace of Spades with the free DLC “classic” update.
Players of the original game will want to check out this DLC as it brings gameplay features and maps from the original alpha version of the game to the new game which was released last month. New and classic capture the flag mode maps have been added, some of which have been designed by the community, to cater for the slower pace of the “classic” gameplay.
Features in the free update include.
- Classic Specific Class – Deuce Character Class. An updated version of the single character class which featured in the Classic version of the game.
- New Maps – 5 new battle maps including a community created map.
- Traditional Gameplay – In a nostalgic nod to the original game, the Classic Mode DLC brings back classic game modes and the trench warfare theme.
- New Strategy Focus – Slower gameplay and manoeuvrability gives tactical strategists a chance to shine and beat their opponents into submission.
