The game will take players back in time, through the most iconic moments of Bonds history. Unlike other Bond video games, 007 Legends will feature a new, overarching storyline, which will involve seven Bond movies, Including with this years new entry, Skyfall007 Legends will, as always, equip players with all of Bonds signature equipment, from gadgets to weapons, and provide Bond with the chance to work his charms on the ladies.

The game is being developed for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 by Eurocom and published by Activision. There is no release date currently, however the game is expected to release fall 2012. Aside from the main story, the game will also feature Mi6 Ops Missions, which first appeared in GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. These missions provide players with a variety of challenges, ranging from action missions, to stealth missions and even gadget-based mission, where players will be able to compete for the highest online leader board scores. A new feature to the franchise will be that players can now take control of one of the villains, playing the mission from their perspective.  The multiplayer includes local four-player split-screen game modes and online competitive gameplay with new maps, weapons and characters derived from Bond’s 50 year legacy.  The game will feature more stealth, spy investigation gameplay and gadgets that any other Bond game, making you feel like the ultimate spy.

“To honor 50 years of the world’s top secret agent, 007 Legends offers a collection of his most famed moments in the smartest and most treacherous Bond game yet,” said David Oxford, “Creating a video game storyline that ties together six popular, yet very different, Bond movie narratives can be challenging, but together with EON Productions, our developer Eurocom, has pulled it off to create an homage that we think will be a unique and highly entertaining Bond video game.”
