Activision Blizzard Quarter And FY Beat Expectations

Although the numbers are lower than last year’s, Activision Blizzard reports profits for the quarter and financial year that beat expectations. Notably, this quarter saw net revenue at $ 1.518 billion.

This number is below last year’s numbers at $ 1.768 billion, but above their guidance of $ 1.518 billion. For the year, net revenue is at $ 4.583 billion. Again, this is below last year’s figure at $ 4.856 billion, but the dropoff is very little.

Of their games, Skylanders made the company $ 2 billion. Call of Duty and World of Warcraft also performed well, and the company has high expectations for Destiny.
