Season Three for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone has introduced various new content across all game modes. Zombies fans have also received some new content to enjoy. Since its launch, the Outbreak mode has been popular due to its ability to provide fans with a new Zombies experience. As a part of the new season, one of many additions to Outbreak is a new objective for you to complete. The Zombies Outbreak objective is named Fury Crystals, and completing it will give you the valuable reward of a Aether Tool.
To begin the Fury Crystals Outbreak objective, you will have to open up the map and locate the icon which shows you where to begin. Once you arrive at the icon, you will see a huge crystal that glows orange. All you have to do is shoot the first crystal and then other similar crystals will spawn in. Shoot the other crystals around the area as fast as you can. If you fail to break them all in time, you will hear a laugh and receive no reward. However, if you successfully complete the task, an Aether Tool will drop when you destroy the final crystal.
Aether Tools are valuable in Outbreak
To pick up the Aether Tool, all you have to do is interact with it. Then, it will upgrade the rarity of the weapon that you are holding. Ultimately, this will make your weapon more powerful. Additionally, you will not have to spend any valuable resources when doing so.
It is important to note that there is also another way to get your hands on a free Aether Tool in the Black Ops Cold War Zombies Outbreak mode. Elite zombies have the ability to drop this item. Once you eliminate an elite, just keep an eye out for an Aether Tool.
