Alan Wake Due in May

Remedy’s Alan Wake will apparently be released in May 2010. According to MCV, sources “close to the game” confirmed that the long-awaited thriller is due for a global release in May of next year and will be promoted “in the style of a Hollywood movie.”Alan Wake has been in development for over four years, having been first announced at E3 2005. The game tells the story of the eponymous writer as he searches for his missing wife in the idyllic and yet creepy-as-hell town of Bright Falls.Narrative is set to play a big part in the game and Finnish developer Remedy – of Max Payne fame – recently announced it may omit the final section of the game from review code in order to protect the storyline.
