Remedy may have been concentrating on Quantum Break, but now that it’s gone gold, have they been working on a new Alan Wake?
A European trademark filing and domain registration suggests that Alan Wake’s Return could be on the way. The trademark is still in the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market system as “Application under examination” and it’s gone through the Fast Track system. The domain name alanwakereturns.com was registered last year by what appears to be from the same source as other Remedy domain registrations. The domain currently goes nowhere.
It looks promising but we’ll file this one under rumour until there’s something a little more official. It wouldn’t be the first time false a trademark filing has popped up. I think we could also expect this to be another Windows 10 exclusive it does turn out to be true.
