Alpha Protocol Delay Confirmed

Sega has confirmed that Alpha Protocol has been delayed. The official US website for Alpha Protocol has been updated, according to Shacknews, listing all three versions – PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 – as due for release in “Spring, 2010.”Alpha Protocol was originally scheduled for launch within the next few weeks, but some are unlikely to be surprised by the delay. There was a bit of a kerfuffle recently from purportedly leaked documents that detailed a meeting Sega had with Sony, in which Alpha Protocol wasn’t well-received.It’s worth noting that, at this stage, the UK site hasn’t been updated and is still showing all three releases as October 2009, while UK retailers still appear to be listing it for an October launch. Steam lists the game as March 2010, however, and with the US delay now confirmed, we imagine the UK one won’t be far behind.
