There’s some fresh talk about the upcoming refresh for the AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards. While past leaks detailed unconfirmed info about these new cards, the latest update is far more concrete. Tech news site WCCFTech revealed in a new leak what we can expect from AMD’s new Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT cards. Before we get into the details though, we caution you not to take this info as fact until you hear it from AMD directly.
These new models may replace the current Radeon 6000 Series lineup, but will at least serve as a step up in performance similar to how Nvidia offers its Ti and Super models. Each of these cards will sport faster clock speeds and memory, but at the cost of higher power consumption.

The star of the show will be the AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, a more powerful version of the 6900 XT. This card will have the Navi 21 XTX GPU with 80 compute units and 5120 stream processors. Its game clock will hit 2,100 MHz, up from 2,015 MHz. The boost clock will reach 2,310 MHz versus the previous 2,250 MHz. Memory clock speeds will hit 18Gbps, whereas the 6900 XT hosts 16Gbps speeds. This will bump the bandwidth up to 576 GB/s from 512 GB/s. Lastly, the TBP will jump to 335W, up from 300W on the 6900 XT.
It will be a similar case for AMD’s RX 6750 XT. The game clock will reach 2,495 MHz instead of 2,424 MHz. The boost clock will top out at 2,600 MHz as opposed to 2,581 MHz. The memory clock speed will be 18Gbps instead of 16Gbps. Bandwidth will increase to 432GB/s from the previous 384GB/s. All of this will push the RX 6750 XT to a TBP of 250W as opposed to 230W for the standard 6700 XT.
AMD’s RX 6650 XT will be the mainstream offering and the lowest-performing card in the new lineup. This card will have a game clock of 2,410 MHz instead of 2,359 MHz. The boost clock will reach 2,635 MHz, whereas the 6600 XT reaches 2,589 MHz. The memory clock speed will hit 17.5Gbps, up from 16Gbps. This will net 280GB/s of bandwidth instead of the 256GB/s on the 6600 XT. TBP will be 180W, a noteworthy increase over the 6600 XT’s 160W.

Release date and pricing
These cards are expected to launch on May 10, as opposed to the original release date of April 20. The refresh lineup is also more expensive, though that isn’t much of a surprise. The MSRP for AMD’s Radeon RX 6950 XT is expected to go above $1000 USD, the RX 6750 XT should be $499 USD and the RX 6650 XT should go for $399 USD. These are rather small markups, but perhaps more realistic given the current climate. The hope is that we’ll see these cards priced near the respective MSRPs this time around.
As with all leaked information, take it lightly. We’ll need to wait for confirmation from AMD on these specs for the Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and the 6650 XT. We shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for more information anyway.
