Apex Legends Second Anniversary Collection Event

Apex Legends Anniversary Collection Event is loaded with free skins

Celebrate two years of Apex with 22 earnable cosmetics.

Apex Legends is celebrating two years of the battle royale with an Anniversary Collection Event. Usually, these events feature plenty of in-game skins that players need to purchase with their hard-earned cash. However, the Apex Legends Anniversary Collection Event truly is a reason to celebrate, because there are 22 free skins for players to earn.

These 22 items are available through the event’s Reward Track, which includes two Event Packs and 10 Apex Packs. According to the description of the Event trailer on YouTube, the items are former fan-favorites. You can expect some recolors and maybe one or two unique styles.

Here’s where things get interesting. If you manage to get all of the Apex Legends Anniversary Collection Event items, you will be able to unlock an Heirloom of your choice. That makes me think there will be purchasable items along with the massive Rewards Track.

Drop into year two

Can you believe Apex Legends has been around for two years already? Neither can Mirage, so he’s put together an amazing slideshow to celebrate the anniversary. It’s thoroughly entertaining and has a few surprises in it.

The Apex Legends Anniversary Collection Event gets underway on February 9. Along with all of the earnable cosmetics, the Locked and Loaded playlist will also be returning to the game. In this mode, you land with a full kit of starting gear. Loot scattered around the map will be of Blue (Rare) quality and above. None of that common trash.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale that features a roster of unique (in abilities and personality) characters. As you can tell from the Anniversary Collection Event trailer, they’re one big happy killer family. Season 8 of Apex Legends has just begun and it added a new Legend, a new weapon, and loads more to the battle royale.

You can play Apex Legends for free through Steam or Origin on PC.
